Your Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant, who wants to be part of a purpose-driven organization that is focused on helping our clients, candidates, colleagues, and communities thrive. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the successful individual will be responsible for interfacing with one of our five business operating units and collaborating within a team environment to support the business in full cycle recruiting activities. Our people are Stantec’s most valuable resource, and by joining our team you will support the successful execution of business and talent attraction strategies through effective sourcing and hiring in North America. This position is geared towards a highly personable, client-focused professional with demonstrated subject matter expertise in the hiring process, who can provide coaching and guidance on staffing-related items in addition to full-cycle recruiting for the opportunities they directly own.

This position will be a hybrid role, to support a flexible workplace culture that fosters positive client experience, interaction, and excellence in project delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with respective teams to identify, attract, and hire targeted talent and to develop strategies to retain a full talent pipeline for your assigned portfolio.

  • Work with business leaders to identify, develop, and implement strategic sourcing and talent attraction initiatives resulting in quality talent pipelines to meet workforce needs.

  • Identify and effectively use appropriate tools and media to execute strategies.

  • Ensure best-in-class candidate experience.

  • Support interview and selection process.

  • Proactively partner with hiring managers on negotiation strategies as part of the offer process and develop salary recommendations.

  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all required employment legislation.

  • Support and model Stantec Values.

  • Ensure all data is documented within the Applicant Tracking System.

  • Implement and reinforce all branding and talent brand messaging to attract top talent.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Demonstrate strong consulting skills acquired through previous experience working in a client-facing role.

  • Proven experience in successfully sourcing talent across multiple geographies.

  • Possess knowledge and ability to communicate insights on global talent markets.

  • Ability to quickly establish and build effective working relationships.

  • Prior experience in successfully operating in a geographically dispersed team is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred).

  • Minimum of five years of related work experience (AEC industry experience is highly preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Pay Range:

• Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$81,500.00 - $118,200.00 Annually

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) will have access to health, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health care spending account, wellness spending account, group registered retirement savings plan, employee stock purchase program, group tax-free savings account, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and paid time off.
