We are looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Security Guard who takes pride in creating safe and welcoming environments. As a Security Guard with Commissionaires Nova Scotia, you will play an important role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining our reputation for providing the highest quality security services in Nova Scotia.

Skills and Abilities: With proven leadership experience, be highly collaborative, solutions oriented, organized and able to manage competing priorities.
Basic Requirements:
· Be able to understand and command a comprehensive working knowledge of National Defence Security Orders and Directives (NDSODs), DND Security Orders, MARLANTORDS, and all other pertinent DND orders and directives.
· Be able to understand and command a comprehensive working knowledge of Nova Scotia Labour Law, Human Rights Act and Workers Compensation Act.
· Have eligibility to work in Canada.
· Not have a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted.
· Hold a valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License and be able to attain a DND 404 License (preferred).
· Able to complete a criminal record check and credentialing.
· Are eligible to apply for, and attain, a Government of Canada personnel security screening.
