Salary: $51,975.00 CAD - $86,625.00 CAD
 

The Terminations Analyst is responsible for the monitoring and management of client, division, and benefit terminations. This role involves collaborating with various internal departments to ensure systems are cleared before finalizing terminations, handling escalations, and preparing monthly reports. The analyst works closely with the Accounts Receivables team and reports to the Manager of Group Benefits Accounts Receivable and Terminations.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, ensuring timely and accurate coding, including the roll-forward of balances.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders to ensure the prompt closure of termination files.
  • Complete all assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare adjustments and obtain authorization for writing off debit balances.
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other pillars within SFS, such as Deposits, ASO Billing, and Commissions.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and analytics to streamline workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvements that enhance accuracy, reduce cycle times, and drive operational excellence.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of SFS system feeds and workflows, with familiarity and experience in ManuConnect, CII/V3, and ASO processes.
  • Proficient in financial reconciliation and advanced spreadsheet skills, including macro knowledge, coupled with strong data analysis capabilities.
  • A self-driven individual capable of quickly adapting to new challenges, demonstrating keen attention to detail and strong follow-through abilities.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with various levels within the department and the Accounting Operations team, showcasing excellent organizational skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the Group Benefits business and expertise in allocation procedures and processes.
  • Exhibits excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize high volumes of work, alongside strong mathematical and analytical proficiency.
  • Maintains excellent oral and written communication skills and is committed to providing a positive customer service experience.
  • Ability to positively influence and collaborate effectively with team members.

Salary range is expected to be between

$51,975.00 CAD - $86,625.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
