Purpose
Group Liquidity & Global Cash Management plays a vital role in safeguarding the Bank’s liquidity and funding profile. As part of this team, Liquidity Regulatory Reporting ensures the Bank meets complex regulatory, financial, and management reporting requirements with accuracy, discipline, and strong governance.

This Associate Director role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of high-impact regulatory reporting processes, partner closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and the business, and lead a team within a critical risk function.

 

Key areas of focus include:

  • Regulatory reporting (LCR, NCCF, NSFR, H4 Pledged Collateral, OSFI Supplemental Information Return, H4 Report)
  • Financial reporting (MD&A and financial statement note disclosures)
  • Management reporting against internal liquidity limits (e.g., deposit counterparties, derivative collateral, and securities funding transactions)

 

Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of liquidity and funding regulatory reporting, from data sourcing and controls to final production and submission, including LCR, NCCF, NSFR, 2L Large Exposures Report, and the Supplemental Liquidity Template.
  • Act as a key partner and trusted advisor across the organization, collaborating with:
    • Global Risk Management on governance, methodologies, and metric approvals
    • Global Risk Technology on system releases, migrations, and issue resolution
    • Internal Audit to support audits and drive timely issue remediation
    • Business lines, advising on balance sheet optimization within liquidity risk appetite
    • Finance on financial disclosures, SOX 404 compliance, and regulatory reconciliations
    • Other stakeholders, including Compliance, external auditors, and regulators
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, leading change implementation to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Prepare and contribute to ad‑hoc analysis, deep dives, and executive presentations for senior leadership.
  • While exposed to all liquidity metrics, maintain a primary focus on daily and month-end LCR production, ensuring robustness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, fostering technical capability, engagement, and a strong control culture.

 

Do You Have the Skills?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or professional designation (CFA, CPA/Accounting) is an asset
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Treasury, Liquidity Risk, or a related function
  • Strong understanding of liquidity and funding risks, metrics, and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to manage complex processes and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with comfort engaging senior leaders and executives
