Purpose

The Repo and Corporate Product Control team is a critical component of the finance division within the organization. This role ensures accurate reporting, monitoring, and analysis of financial products while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Daily Profit and Loss (P&L) Reporting: Prepare and review daily P&L reports for repo and corporate products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Balance Sheet Management: Monitor and analyze balance sheets associated with repo and corporate activities to ensure proper management of financial positions.
  • Valuation Controls: Implement robust valuation methodologies and controls to ensure the integrity of pricing for repo and corporate financial products.
  • Risk Management: Work closely with risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with trading and product strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, ensuring compliance in all reporting and analysis activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with trading desks, operations, risk, and accounting teams to provide insightful financial analysis and support business strategy.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy through automation and innovative solutions.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics,or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of repo and corporate financial products, including their pricing, valuation, and risk profiles.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, databases, and tools, such as Excel, VBA, and SQL; familiarity with Python or other programming languages is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines while maintaining high standards of output.
