In this role you will: 

 

  • Participate in development, testing, and implementation of liquidity applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements (BRDs, functional specs, data definitions).
  • Collaborate with Treasury business lines, Operations, Development, Data teams, and Application Support.
  • Support BAU and regulatory initiatives with project managers, architects, and developers.
  • Interpret regulatory materials and translate them into business/functional requirements.
  • Define test plans, functional test cases, and support full QA validation.
  • Contribute to process mapping and business architecture documentation.
  • Support production processes and participate in UAT.
  • Work independently on multiple concurrent assignments.


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

 

Must Have

  • 7+ years IT/business experience within banking or financial institutions.
  • 7+ years in Risk Management, Regulatory Domains, Liquidity Risk.
  • Strong knowledge of FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, NCCF and OSFI regulatory expectations.
  • 7+ years writing SQL queries and performing data validation.
  • 7+ years QA/testing experience, including defining functional test scenarios.
  • Experience preparing BRDs, functional specs, business architecture documents, and data requirements.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory documentation and translate into system requirements.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with all phases of the SDLC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, finance, engineering, or related discipline.

Ideal candidate will have 

  • Programming experience (Python preferred).
  • Scripting experience.
  • Experience with Treasury or vendor liquidity platforms.
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices.
