This role combines painting, preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and customer service within a vibrant residential community. Total rewards: $55000.00 - $64000.00 annually 3 weeks of paid vacation Comprehensive Manulife benefits plan after probation Education and tuition reimbursement program Paid sick leave, family responsibility leave, bereavement leave, and compassionate care leave after probation Company-provided cell phone and laptop Ongoing mentorship and training from an experienced Maintenance Manager Stable, full-time opportunity with career development potential A typical day: Complete residential suite turnover painting, including patching, priming, and painting walls and ceilings Perform painting and finishing work in common areas, hallways, lobbies, and building amenities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems, equipment, and grounds Complete work orders, maintenance requests, incident reports, and maintenance documentation Perform minor plumbing, finishing, and general repair work while coordinating specialized contractors when required Assist with suite turnover preparation, cleaning coordination, and deficiency repairs Order materials and supplies while maintaining organized maintenance schedules Promote safe work practices and provide exceptional service to residents and stakeholders Successful candidates will have: Previous experience as a Painter, Maintenance Technician, or similar property maintenance role Experience supporting residential, commercial, or multi-family real estate assets preferred Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills across general maintenance functions Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with property management and maintenance teams Working knowledge of building operations, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs This posting is for an active opening.
