Position Overview

Calian is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Specialist Instructor, in Nursing to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct Clinical Specialty T&E Programs
  • Develop lesson plans
  • Prepare classing, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
  • Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment, and classrooms
  • Counsel and provide remedial Training and Education to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
  • Assess students
  • Advise on student performance
  • Maintain student files and feedback notes
  • Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree OR post graduate diploma/certificate from a recognized Canadian University of College or from an equivalent in the following occupations: Nursing
  • Must have completed a minimum of twenty training days within the last five years in instructing in a health services in the following occupations: Nursing
  • Must be fully bilingual (English & French)

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability Level

Compensation

$115,443 to $128,271

Calian est à la recherche d’un(e) instructeur(trice) clinicien(ne) spécialiste bilingue en soins infirmiers afin de soutenir la conception, l’élaboration et la prestation des programmes d’instruction et d’éducation du Groupe des Services de santé des Forces canadiennes (Gp Svc S FC).

Responsabilités

  • Dispenser des programmes d’instruction et d’éducation en spécialité clinique conformément aux normes en vigueur
  • Élaborer et mettre à jour les plans de cours selon les plans d’instruction approuvés
  • Préparer les salles de classe, l’équipement, les aides à l’instruction et le matériel pédagogique
  • Assurer l’installation et le démontage des installations et de l’équipement de formation
  • Encadrer les étudiants et offrir de l’instruction de rattrapage à ceux qui éprouvent des difficultés académiques
  • Évaluer les étudiants conformément aux normes applicables
  • Fournir des conseils et de la rétroaction sur le rendement des étudiants
  • Maintenir les dossiers des étudiants à jour ainsi que les notes de suivi
  • Formuler des recommandations visant à améliorer la qualité et l’efficacité de l’instruction

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat ou diplôme/certificat d’études supérieures d’un établissement postsecondaire canadien reconnu, ou équivalence, dans le domaine des soins infirmiers
  • Minimum de vingt (20) jours d’expérience en enseignement au cours des cinq dernières années dans le domaine des services de santé, en soins infirmiers
  • Bilinguisme essentiel (français et anglais)

Exigences supplémentaires

  • Capacité d’obtenir une cote de sécurité du gouvernement du Canada (niveau fiabilité)
