Location: Vancouver, BC (Field-based, daily travel throughout Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas)

Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required

Duration: 8-Month Contract

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Territory Manager to join a well-established public sector organization where you'll support a network of retail and hospitality partners, helping them achieve operational excellence while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

In this field-based role, you'll spend the majority of your time visiting retailers across your assigned territory, collaborating with partners to maintain compliance, strengthen relationships, and support business objectives. Your Responsibilities
• You'll manage a portfolio of retail and hospitality partners, building trusted relationships while delivering exceptional customer service and ongoing support.
• You'll plan and execute daily retailer visits throughout Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas, ensuring efficient route planning and consistent territory coverage.
• You'll travel throughout your assigned territory five days per week using your personal vehicle to support partner locations.
• You'll conduct site reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing guidance on operational standards and best practices.
• You'll execute merchandising initiatives, promotional displays, product placement, and brand standards across retail locations.
• You'll maintain accurate customer records, activity reports, and territory plans using Salesforce or a comparable CRM, along with Microsoft Office applications.
• You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities to enhance the overall partner experience.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of experience in territory management, account management, or field sales within retail, hospitality, or a related industry.
• Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience independently planning sales routes and managing a field-based territory.
• Proficiency using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform, along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and customer service skills with a consultative approach.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle, with the ability to travel daily throughout Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas. Comfortable using a personal cell phone and laptop for business purposes, subject to organizational policy.
