The Capital Markets group within the Treasury and Risk Management Division is responsible for debt issuance and management, working with other departments in the evaluation and negotiation of major projects with a financing component, and for policy development, portfolio research and performance analysis for the province’s multi-billion portfolio of investments.

The Senior Manager, Credit and Analysis holds a critical leadership position within the Treasury Risk Management (TRM) department, leading and empowering Senior Treasury Analyst(s) through mentorship and delegation to drive exceptional execution of treasury operations. The Senior Manager, Credit and Analysis collaborates closely with investment professionals to oversee the Province's capital markets activities, including credit analysis, debt issuance, and investment portfolio management, ensuring alignment with strategic financial objectives.
The Senior Manager, Credit and Analysis oversees the implementation and configuration of features within the province’s new treasury system, FIS Quantum, ensuring seamless integration with platforms such as Bloomberg, CanDeal, and CanAuction, while troubleshooting technical issues to maintain data integrity and system performance.
One of the primary responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Credit and Analysis is to support the trading desk of the Capital Markets group of Treasury and Risk Management.

University graduation in Business, Economics or other field related to the position, supplemented by six years progressively responsible related experience. Candidates with eight years of progressively responsible related experience will be given preference.
Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.

There is one full-time permanent position working 36.25 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (In-office).
Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
