Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer - Project Manager in the commercial sector in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Senior Structural Project Manager, you will lead complex commercial, multi-residential, and institutional projects from concept through construction. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with client-facing project management, requiring confident on-site decision-making, strong communication, and the ability to guide teams through fast-paced project timelines. This is a fully in-office role suited to experienced professionals who thrive in collaborative, deadline-driven environments. What's in it for you: $100000.00 - $130000.00 annually Receive discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance Enjoy three weeks of paid vacation Participate in RRSP matching after two years of employment Access a 50/50 employer-paid health benefits plan Work in a stable, growing firm with long-term leadership opportunities Earn a competitive base salary of $100,000–$130,000 depending on experience A typical day: Lead structural design and delivery of commercial and institutional projects valued from $3M to $80M Manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception through completion Provide technical oversight, structural details, and project specifications Communicate directly with clients, architects, and contractors to align design intent and timelines Guide and mentor engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle Contribute to departmental procedures and maintain documentation standards Requirements: Bring 10–12+ years of structural engineering experience in commercial and multi-dwelling buildings Demonstrate at least five years of leadership or people-management experience Hold strong working knowledge of wood, concrete, steel, and masonry systems Use structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, and S-Frame with confidence Maintain in-depth knowledge of NBCC, permitting, and construction processes Be registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA; other Canadian registrations are an asset This posting is for an active opening.
