The HR Reporting Specialist is responsible for supporting the Manager, HR Reporting & Analytics in delivering HR insights and reporting solutions through various BI tools including Power BI. Provide data analysis and reporting, system maintenance and support for HR reporting solutions, handles requirements documentation for stakeholder needs, provides user training and support to global users, and manages the deployment of reports in the Power BI app. This role serves as tier 2 support for issues escalated from Employee Services teams and involves close collaboration with HR and non-HR partners.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and reporting to support HR decision-making and business intelligence initiatives
  • Manage the deployment of reports in the Power BI app, ensuring they are consistent with data management principles and privacy requirements.
  • Support the HR Reporting knowledge management function, by documenting and reviewing information related to requirements, access rules, roles and calculations are clearly defined. 
  • Provide system maintenance and support for HR reporting solutions, resolving technology issues escalated from Employee Services teams and escalating complex technology issues to Employee Experience teams
  • Assist peers across witihin the HR Reporting team by providing technical expertise on medium complexity database queries, scripts, automation, and technological architecture issues
  • Research and analyzes leadings trends and practices on HR technologies, provides insights to Manager, HR Reporting & Analytics
  • Collaborate with Employee GHR Technology teams in the coordination and scheduling of system updates and system configuration
  • Coordinate with IT counterparts in GHR Technology to customize and maintain reporting technology for HR
  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Ensure all activities are complete in accordance with the Bank’s policies and standard regulations 
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:  

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Business or pursuing education in related field
  • Data analysis skillset required. Visualization tools (Power BI preferred), and SQL. Python skillset is an asset.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of data governance, data infrastructure, and dataflow
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexity
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; self-driven; and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
