The Senior Manager, Strategic Communications & Engagement will be responsible for leading an effective communication strategy that works collaboratively to deliver a wide variety of communications across the Global Wealth, Banking & Markets Technology organization.

 

This role is accountable for bringing enterprise and technology strategy to life through clear, compelling, and consistent communication and engagement. The function shapes executive messaging, drives internal campaigns, enables leaders and managers as communicators, and owns and champions employee engagement and experience across the lifecycle.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Shape and deliver high-impact executive communications, ensuring alignment with the organization’s voice and strategic goals.
  • Develop executive-ready materials (presentations, speaking notes, town halls) that drive clarity and action.
  • Plan, track and coordinate communication projects and events, managing logistics, agendas, and follow-up communications.
  • Lead internal communications strategy across intranet, employee communities, internal social channels, and campaign emails. 
  • Collaborate with technology communication, HR, IT&S projects teams and other stakeholders to build and publish communications, memos, project and financial updates, ensuring consistency and clarity across all platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between executives, project and finance teams, and various departments, ensuring seamless communication flow and timely dissemination of information.
  • Act as a flexible execution arm for priority initiatives and cross functional programs (e.g., Best of the Best, enterprise-wide efforts). 
  • Own the employee engagement and experience narrative, driving employee engagement through Pulse, Applause, and championing a high-performance environment and inclusive work environment. 
  • Partner closely with HR, Talent, and Technology leaders to reinforce engagement, capability, and performance. 
  • Define and track KPIs to assess effectiveness of communications and engagement strategies and provide actionable recommendations to enhance reach, clarity, and impact.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong ability to create compelling and professional executive decks.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination, particularly for large-scale corporate events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Power BI.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Wealth and/or Global Banking & Markets business lines. Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
