ECAM Technologies, a division of GardaWorld and Canada's leading provider of intelligent video monitoring and AI-driven security solutions, is currently seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive new business growth across the Lower Mainland. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new commercial accounts.

As a Business Development Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, develop strong client relationships, and help organizations strengthen their security through innovative video monitoring, AI-powered surveillance, and Mobile Surveillance Unit (MSU) solutions.

Business Development Representative Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital outreach, and in-person meetings.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Identify opportunities within key industries, including construction, commercial real estate, retail, hospitality, property management, and light industrial.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer operations, challenges, and security requirements.
• Present ECAM's intelligent security solutions, including live video monitoring, AI-powered surveillance, and Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs).
• Prepare proposals, negotiate solutions, and move opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and pipeline forecasts within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Represent ECAM at industry events, networking functions, and business development activities.

Business Development Representative Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, prospecting, or another customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented with a passion for new business development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a high-performing sales team.
• Valid British Columbia driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Lower Mainland to meet with prospective clients.
• Ability to provide professional references that demonstrate your sales performance, work ethic, and reliability.
