Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects (Internal Title: Estimation V) Formulate departmental resource allocation strategies, utilizing this to distribute work and budgets  Approve estimate plans for, budgets, and schedules for major projects and programs  Revalidate the estimate plan as required and manage change to base estimates generated by both internal and external sources, including vendor-driven changes  Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the project per the project plan    Monitor staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines    Lead the review of complex and mega project estimates and adherence to the scope, schedule, and budget     Identify estimating risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans    Oversee the tracking, monitoring, and reporting on performance against project requirements and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate    Evaluate estimating effectiveness by consulting with clients and staff in line with acceptable standards of workmanship  Provide expert guidance and reviews of all estimates and studies  Analyze estimating data, estimate basis and assumptions, and correlate to other projects and standards for completeness and reasonableness   Maintain the overall requirements of the estimate and anticipate overlaps and gaps in costing   Perform high-level confirmation of developed quantities for completeness and reasonableness  Review criteria for the development of pricing structures and guide to assure complete and reasonable pricing  Advise on discipline estimates and study presentations, comparisons, and reconciliations  Guide projects in identifying scope deviations and incorporate lessons learned into estimates  Recommend contingency and escalation rates to be presented to the team through risk discussion   Manage incorporating commercial terms and conditions (tax and currency exchange, etc.)  Liaise with client personnel to gain an understanding of the specialized aspects of estimating methodologies  Keep stakeholders in the loop of progress, and ensure their buy-in to the developing estimate to ensure acceptance  Develop and guide all classes of project estimates ranging from order of magnitude to detailed working estimates  Optimize design and specifications within the context of a multidisciplinary team  Negotiate scope changes and ensure quality, consistency, and integrity of all deliverables  Finalize and sign off on progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, client executives, and key stakeholders    Clarify internal quality control checks and lead quality issue resolution  Define the success criteria for estimating services and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle    Set and interpret project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders    Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall ‘right-first-time” mindset    Own the management of staff performance on the project or program to ensure excellence in results in parallel with ensuring teams have clear performance objectives   Promote an environment, that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differences   Actively participate in the supervision, coaching, mentoring, and training of other members of the team appropriate to their area of accountability   WORKING CONDITIONS Office/site based. Some travel required to the US.With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.
