Are you an exceptional lawyer looking for a unique challenge with meaningful impact? Alberta Justice - Legal Services Division has an opportunity for you to join the Trade, Innovation, Post Secondary Legal Team (TIPS).
We are looking for a dynamic lawyer to provide solicitor services to our clients.
TIPS provides legal and strategic advice to the Government of Alberta, including to the following departments: Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration (JETI), Advanced Education (AE), Tourism and Sport (TS), and Technology and Innovation (TI). We provide advice on contracts, grants and procurement matters, legislative development, implementation and interpretation, administrative law matters, access and privacy, risk management, departmental programs, and strategic initiatives. The work is fast paced and provided in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (JD) is required. For Law degrees obtained outside Canada, proof of accreditation from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) is required. You must be an active member or must have immediate eligibility for full membership with the Law Society of Alberta.

Hours of work: 7.25 hours per day / 36.25 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
Positions currently available: This competition will be used to fill Temporary and permanent CCC2- CCC3 positions.
Location: Bowker Building, 9833 109 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
