About the Role 

As a Designer BIM Modeler, you’ll support structural and infrastructure projects by developing high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models. You’ll work closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate construction documentation, contribute to BIM workflows, and support project delivery from concept through to completion using tools such as MicroStation and Revit. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using MicroStation for infrastructure projects 

• Support engineers by creating detailed plans, drawings, and construction documents 

• Interpret sketches and redlines to produce accurate technical deliverables 

• Manage CAD files, references, and standards across projects 

• Perform quality checks and support peer reviews of design work 

• Coordinate workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines 

• Contribute to CAD standards, templates, and workflow improvements 

• Support BIM model development using Autodesk Revit 

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and follow BIM Execution Plans 

• Assist with model coordination and digital deliverables 

Qualifications 

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Structural or Infrastructure Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or related field 

• 3–5 years of experience in CAD production within infrastructure, civil, or transit projects 

• Strong proficiency in Bentley MicroStation 

• Working knowledge of structural drafting and construction documentation 

• Exposure to Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows 

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 

• Effective communication and teamwork skills 

• AutoCAD experience is considered an asset
