Job Description:

What are we looking for?

  • Role's purpose is to support our Mars Wrigley Trade Planning Management (TPM) application and helping manage the organization's central analytics repository along with the underlying analytic solutions for the Sales organization, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for business needs. This role is also involved in improving our dashboards, streamlining backend data ETL processes, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our analytics infrastructure. This is an important role in the development and management of our Mars One Reporting Systems, Including Power Bi, CAS, and Kinaxis systems.

What are we looking for?

 

  • 1-3 years of IT experience in BI and data analytics.
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities to solve business problems using data driven approaches.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with big data architectures and data modeling to efficiently process large volumes of data.
  • Experienced working with data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Versed in programming languages commonly used for data analysis (e.g. Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, Java, etc.).
  • Knowledge of database systems like MS SQL / MySQL and SQL for data retrieval and manipulation as well as other tabular data model expressions like DAX/MDX.
  • Familiar with Cloud Platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Experienced in data extraction, data cleaning  and  data processing (ELT and ETL) with Spark / PySpark.
  • Knowledge of SAP, TPM Applications and prior CpG experience would be an asset.

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide support to BI Lead in managing the central repository that to captures all tools used by the Canadian organization (Analytics Hub Canada).
  • Assist in managing the analytic solutions for the Sales organization, including assisting users in troubleshooting, bug fixes, and work on enhancing it them.
  • Optimize and work on enhancing productionized dashboards and data pipelines for our business intelligence layer.
  • Support the administration and management of Trade Planning Management (TPM) application (CAS) for the Canadian organization by helping maintain its backend functionality, governance process, supporting users with troubleshooting various issues and participating in testing of new upgrades.

Please note this is a 8 month Co-Op preferred.
