About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support critical purchasing and supply chain operations for a well-established organization within the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring materials, supplies, and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time to support ongoing operations.
Working closely with supply chain, operations, and supplier partners, you will help drive purchasing excellence through strong vendor relationships, accurate data management, and proactive coordination. Your Responsibilities
• You'll process and issue purchase orders in accordance with established procurement procedures and policies.
• You'll maintain purchasing master data and ensure the accuracy of procurement information within the ERP system.
• You'll proactively expedite orders, follow up on overdue purchase orders, and coordinate timely deliveries with suppliers.
• You'll manage weekly open order reports and monitor purchase order due dates to support uninterrupted operations.
• You'll coordinate vendor-managed inventory programs and build strong relationships with supplier partners.
• You'll source indirect materials and services, including maintenance supplies, PPE, hardware, packaging, repairs, and manufacturing support services.
• You'll administer supplier onboarding activities, maintain purchasing metrics, and support departmental records management.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, with the ability to maintain and manage purchasing data accurately.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills, including experience with databases and project management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• APICS CSCP, CPIM, SCMA designation, or other relevant supply chain certifications are considered an asset.
