About the Opportunity
An established and growing real estate organization is seeking Residential Building Operators to support a portfolio of modern multi-residential and mixed-use properties across Ottawa. These opportunities are available due to continued growth, including new developments and portfolio expansion, with openings supporting various locations throughout the Ottawa region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in building operations. The team is open to individuals who may be early in their career but bring strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on maintenance experience, or education in building systems, trades, electrical, or mechanical programs. Whether you’ve worked in renovations, facilities, grocery operations, property maintenance, or recently completed a related college program, this role offers mentorship, exposure, and the chance to grow within a supportive operations team.
Skills and Qualifications
• 1 to 5 years of experience in building operations, maintenance, facilities, renovations, or related hands-on environments
• Mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting or completing general maintenance and repair work
• Recent completion of a college program related to building systems, trades, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical studies considered a strong asset
• Experience with plumbing, electrical repairs, fixtures, sinks, toilets, lighting, or general building systems
• Building Automation Systems experience considered an asset but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently
• Valid Class G driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle required
