THE ROLE
Position: Dispatch Supervisor
Competition Number: CNS 2026-05-19
Location: Commissionaires Nova Scotia Head Office (229 Damascus Rd, Bedford NS)
Reports to: Atlantic Operations Centre Manager
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts based on a rotating schedule (occasional flexibility required)

The Dispatch Supervisor leadership role is ideally suited to an individual with previous dispatching experience who has worked in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. An ability to match client demand to the available existing workforce, and to communicate concisely the detail of each assignment is vital to the success of the operations centre.
CNS is seeking an independent and attentive leader who will commit to ensuring that the dispatch team fulfills and satisfies the staffing needs of our various clients. If you enjoy working toward established deadlines and are an experienced, results-driven and detail oriented professional, then this may be an excellent opportunity for you.
