Our client, a mission-driven organization within the research and innovation sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support their collaborative finance team in a fully remote environment. Working closely with a team of Senior Financial Analysts, you will play an important role in supporting accounts payable, reconciliations, expense processing, and financial administration during a busy period. Your Responsibilities

• You’ll assist with accounts payable processing, including vendor invoices and employee expense claims using NetSuite, Lightyear, and Tallie
• In this role, you’ll support accounts receivable activities, including invoice generation and collections monitoring
• You’ll perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and corporate credit cards with a high degree of accuracy
• You’ll ensure timely and accurate financial data entry into NetSuite
• You’ll provide ad hoc accounting and administrative support to the Senior Finance Analyst during peak periods

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Accounting Clerk or similar accounting support role
• Strong accounts payable experience, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliation processes
• Experience processing approximately 15–35 claims or transactions within a structured workflow
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Experience with NetSuite is considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with Lightyear and Tallie is an asset
