About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with an organization in the engineering and technology sector to support an upcoming industry event in downtown Ottawa. We are currently hiring 2 individuals for event support positions, including a Receptionist and a Photography/Event Support representative.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll welcome and direct guests in a friendly and professional manner
• In this role, you’ll help create a positive and organized event experience for attendees
• You’ll walk throughout the event space capturing photos and candid moments
• You’ll support the event team with general coordination and guest assistance as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service, events, or photography support
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional communication skills
• Comfortable engaging with guests and working in a busy environment
• Creative eye and confidence taking event photos using a phone or camera
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during the event
