Location: Fully Remote; may be based anywhere in Ontario (working Eastern Standard Time)
Working Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week including weekend coverage ~ Friday afternoons (4-hours), full 8-hour days on Saturdays and Sundays, Monday mornings (4-hours); schedule may change based on business needs
Language: Strong written and verbal English communication skills required
Duration: 6-month contract with likelihood to extend
Background Check Requirement: Reference and Criminal Check required
Compensation: $25/hour plus incentive bonus opportunities
About the Opportunity
Altis is currently partnered with a professional services organization seeking a Part-time/Weekend Recruiter to support high-priority hiring needs outside of their traditional business hours. Recruiters will play a critical role in accelerating sourcing activity, candidate engagement, and shortlist development for active searches across a variety of teams and functions. Recruiters will support entry to senior-level hiring needs across both IT and non-IT skill sets.
This opportunity is ideal for recruiters who thrive in fast-paced, high-activity environments and enjoy working independently while contributing to a collaborative delivery model. You’ll support priority recruitment initiatives by building candidate pipelines, conducting screenings and interviews, and ensuring strong candidate coverage during peak engagement windows.
Successful candidates will participate in a structured onboarding program consisting of 2 full weeks of weekday training during core business hours for approximately 25 hours per week. This training is designed to provide the tools, processes, and support needed to succeed in a fast-moving environment.
