Under the Senior Manager Power Platform, the Senior Power Platform Developer provides hands-on technical leadership in the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for a senior technical practitioner who can lead solution design, build scalable and secure apps and automations, support production operations, and help mature the organization’s governance and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) capabilities. You will build solutions across Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate (cloud flows and approvals), Power Pages, Power BI, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio (including Copilot agents), and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver modern, well-governed outcomes.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or university degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Systems, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
Hands-on experience delivering enterprise Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Power BI, governance (DLP, security, environments), and ALM/CI/CD.
Experience designing and supporting RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop (attended/unattended, execution patterns, operational considerations).
Experience enabling and coaching makers/citizen developers while maintaining governance standards.
Experience integrating with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services, Azure DevOps, APIs, and deploying solutions across Dev/Test/UAT/Prod environments.
Strong understanding of Power Platform architecture and Dataverse design (schema, security, performance).
Strong Power Automate skills (expressions, connectors, error handling) and practical Power Automate Desktop (RPA) experience.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, REST APIs, custom connectors, and DevOps/source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
Experience using Azure services (e.g., Functions, Key Vault, APIM) and building copilots with Copilot Studio.

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise‑grade Power Platform solutions, with a primary focus on Canvas Apps, complemented by Model‑Driven Apps, Dataverse customization, and Power Pages where appropriate.
Develop robust automation and analytics using Power Automate (cloud & desktop/RPA), Power BI, and Dataverse, including exception handling, resiliency, and operational readiness
Design scalable, secure integrations across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, APIs, SQL, and third‑party systems
Apply governance, security, and ALM best practices, including DLP, role‑based access control, environment strategy, solution packaging, CI/CD pipelines, and Power Platform Pipelines
Provide senior technical leadership and troubleshooting, supporting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, reducing technical debt, and improving platform reliability.
Leverage advanced extensibility and pro‑dev techniques as needed (plugins, client/server‑side scripting, Azure Functions, APIs, data migration, and DevOps tooling)
Collaborate, mentor, and enable developers and citizen makers, contributing to standards, reusable patterns, documentation, and broader Power Platform adoption.
