The Corporate Services Coordinator plans, organizes and coordinates corporate services (marketing, sponsorship, communication etc.) activities for The Lookout Newspaper, part of Personnel Support Programs (PSP). Develops and coordinates the Lookout’s key priorities and strategy, working closely with the Corporate Services Manager and the Events Coordinator. The Corporate Services Coordinator liaises with local community and business organizations for sales opportunities. Develops and maintains database information and media packages. Identifies, solicits, develops and implements local corporate services and negotiates agreements with customers.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Arts, or a related field, AND several years of experience in marketing, or in a related field
AND
A valid Driver’s License (BC)
Experience
In delivering sponsorship and sales solicitation, event marketing and advertising campaigns services
In website layout and design
In developing web ready graphics and desktop publishing
In developing marketing, sponsorship and communication services strategies
In the marketing of community programs and services and promotion of partnerships within communities
In negotiating and managing contracts
In the preparation of advertising campaigns
In budget administration
In initiating market research studies and the analysis of their findings

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
