Come make a meaningful impact by joining our Fire Protection expertise team at one of our Stantec offices. In this role, you will be a key member of our team, contributing to the design and delivery of a wide range of projects across Canada. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on projects of varying size and complexity (water, foam, and gas systems) in institutional, industrial, and commercial environments, for both local and international clients.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Designing fire protection systems within building mechanics projects using Revit and AutoCAD;
• Preparing drawings in accordance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards;
• Producing engineering drawings and plans of varying scope using CAD tools (AutoCAD and Revit), in line with established standards;
• Participating in site surveys and data collection;
• Monitoring work quality on site, conducting site visits, and taking part in construction meetings;
• Organizing and managing all project documentation.
• Knowledge of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards;
• Familiarity with HydraCalc software;
• Ability to perform and interpret hydraulic calculations;
• Good understanding of fire protection engineering principles;
• ASP Construction card (an asset);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills;
• Proficiency in English is an asset to facilitate collaboration with internal teams outside Quebec and with clients.

Pay Range:
• Lower Mainland - Colombie-Britannique-$72,300.00 - $104,800.00 Annuel
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
