Agilus is recruiting for a Outside Sales Representative - (Metalworking Machinery) in the Capital Equipment Industry in Mississauga, Ontario. Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representatives to generate new business and grow existing accounts within their assigned Eastern Ontario territory. This role focuses on technical B2B sales of metalworking machinery, combining relationship management, consultative selling, and territory development. Total rewards: $50000.00 annually Base Salary of $50,000, anticipated OTE of $130,000+ Car allowance. Defined benefits pension plan. Comprehensive benefits. Paid time off. Employee assistance program (EAP) A typical day: Develop and execute territory sales plans to drive new business acquisition and account growth. Identify, qualify, and pursue prospective customers through market research and outreach. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close and post-sale follow-up. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular site visits and communication. Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track activity, and report on pipeline and performance. Collaborate with internal teams (sales support, applications, service) to deliver customer solutions. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions Provide technical sales support by understanding product capabilities and customer requirements Successful candidates will have: Experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or capital equipment sales preferred Background in metalworking machinery or manufacturing technology considered an asset Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing customer accounts Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills Comfortable learning and communicating technical product information Proficient with CRM systems and sales reporting tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a field-based role This posting is for an active opening.
