Under the supervision of the Sports & Facilities Coordinator, the Sports & Facilities Services Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises sports stores activities and equipment according to established policies and regulations. They supervise employees and input employee hours into the pay system. They supervise the issue and receipt of sports equipment and maintain inventory of equipment. They supervise and complete performance checks and minor maintenance on equipment, and perform scheduled and non-scheduled inspection of equipment
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Recreation Facility Management or a related field and some years of experience in a related field
OR
High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will also be considered
AND
Valid Drivers License (Province)
Valid DND 404 Military Driver’s Licence, an asset
Experience
In personnel administration
In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
In equipment maintenance/scheduling
In inventory control
In record keeping/invoicing
Knowledge
Of sports facilities
Of maintenance requirements for sports facilities and equipment
Of repairs to sports equipment
