The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation is responsible for the policies, legislation, regulations, programs, and services that enable Alberta’s agriculture and food sectors to flourish and contribute to Alberta’s economic growth. Rooted in the Animal Health and Assurance Branch, the Inspection and Investigation Section is responsible for the oversight and administration of the Feeder Associations Loan Guarantee Program (FALGP). This legislated program provides up to $225 million in provincial loan guarantees, supporting more than $1.5 billion in annual lending to feeder association members across Alberta. The team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, effective delivery, and ongoing oversight of this vital provincial program.
Do you have a strong eye for detail and a passion for ensuring programs run smoothly and fairly? As the Regulatory Administrator reporting to the Provincial Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery, oversight, and administration of the Feeder Associations Loan Guarantee Program (FALGP).
You will ensure the consistent application of legislation, regulation, policy, and directives across feeder associations, which includes monitoring compliance, analyzing program data, and addressing operational risks.
