Agilus is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator/Planner in the Oil and Gas Sector in St John's,, Newfoundland. Reporting to the Manager Shared Services and SIMOPS, the Onshore Logistics Coordinator supports safe and efficient project execution consistent with regulations standards. Working closely with third party services/contractors, the Project team and Terra Nova Operations, the candidate will manage daily logistics of both cargo and personnel to and from the MODU to ensure the timely execution of all operations without delay. Total rewards: $75.00 - $85.00 hourly 12 Months of contract position, potential for extension. This position may require periodic travel to various local sites (e.g. marine base, contractor offices, etc.) and possibly international sites leading up to the offshore execution phase. Offshore travel may be required to / from the Terra Nova field (offshore Newfoundland, Canada) during key offshore execution periods. A typical day: Develop and execute daily and weekly logistics plans, including scheduling and coordination of vessels, helicopters, and cargo movements. Manage engagement with service providers to ensure cargo readiness, adherence to sailing schedules, and accurate vessel loading plans and voyage updates aligned with offshore operational requirements. Track and report material status using Kabal to ensure alignment with offshore demand and operational priorities. Support management of backload materials, waste, and equipment returns from offshore in collaboration with offshore logistics personnel. Coordinate with the marine base, vessel providers, and fuel suppliers to ensure vessels are properly resourced, utilized and dispatched on time. Monitor vessel performance vs. plan, escalating delays, deviations, or weather impacts as required, Serve as the primary Project onshore logistics coordination contact for internal teams, including Terra Nova Operations, and external contractors. Participate in daily/weekly logistics planning meetings with Operations, Drilling, Maintenance, Construction, and Marine, Support emergent and unplanned logistics requirements with flexibility and effective prioritization. Maintain strong working relationships with aviation, marine, warehousing, transport, fuel, and waste management contractors, Support after hours logistics requirements including emergency ad hoc personnel movements. Successful candidates will have: 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably logistics or related operations offshore. Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is considered an asset, Previous experience with East Coast operations will be considered an asset. Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements in logistics operations, Must have knowledge of CAPP standards for lifting & hoisting as well as DNV 2.7.1. Proficiency with DaWinci, Kabal, SAP, Keystone, and Microsoft Office (or similar logistics/ERP systems) considered an asset. Must have knowledge of drilling, completions, and interventions tools and equipment. Familiarity with safe storage and stowage of offshore/downhole equipment and materials, Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Legally authorized to work in Canada, Strong interpersonal and communication skills working with a diverse group of people.
