About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization within the retail and consumer analytics space, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a forward-thinking and highly collaborative analytics team. In this role, you will help shape a seamless, data-driven customer experience by building the infrastructure that powers insight across the business.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and build scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
• You’ll develop and optimize tables, views, and ETL processes for high-performance data access
• You’ll ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across large and complex datasets
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• You’ll deliver actionable insights and support both ongoing and ad hoc analytical requests

Skills and Qualifications
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and working with large-scale datasets
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments
• Proven ability to build and optimize ETL pipelines and complex queries
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
