About the Opportunity

A leading Canadian retail organization is seeking a Manager, Learning & Development Programs to shape and elevate enterprise-wide leadership development strategy. This is a high-impact role within a mature Talent Centre of Excellence, supporting leaders from manager through to executive level across a complex, national workforce.

You’ll join a collaborative talent function that includes Learning, Talent Management, Performance, Engagement, and HR Business Partners. Together, you’ll help define what great leadership looks like today and in the future, building programs that directly influence culture, capability, and organizational performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll design and execute multi-year leadership development strategies aligned to enterprise talent priorities
  • You’ll lead the creation and facilitation of leadership programs for managers through executive-level audiences
  • You’ll partner with HRBPs, executives, and external vendors to deliver high-impact learning experiences
  • You’ll assess program effectiveness and continuously refine offerings based on insights and outcomes
  • You’ll support executive onboarding and acceleration programs to drive early impact
  • You’ll contribute to enterprise initiatives focused on future leadership capabilities and workforce readiness

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of leadership development, talent development, or L&D program design experience
  • Proven success building and delivering enterprise-scale leadership programs in complex organizations
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation, and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Experience partnering with coaching firms, vendors, or external learning institutions
  • Ability to design end-to-end programs including strategy, delivery, and evaluation
  • Familiarity with leadership assessments or development frameworks (asset)
