Security Officer - Kouchibouguac National Park

Commissionaires NB & PEI Division is currently recruiting Security Officers for both Fulltime and Part-time casual seasonal positions (June to October) at
Kouchibouguac National Park , in Kouchibouguac, NB.

Hours: Evening shifts, 9:30pm to 2am, over 7 day rotating schedule

Rate of Pay: $18.94 per hour

Travel rate: $18.94 per shift

Language Requirement: Bilingual (French/English) highly sought attribute but not a requirement

The Role:

The Security Officer is responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people and property within the campgrounds at
Kouchibouguac
National Park.

We are seeking candidates with:
-excellent communication skills
-a positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
-physical fitness to perform rounds in all types of environmental conditions

-a valid Drivers’ License
-Clean criminal record required – including Vulnerable Sector
-Current First Aid/CPR Certificate

The successful candidate must be able to:
-demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations

-react quickly and appropriately in shifting situations
-obtain necessary security clearance (PSPC Reliability)
-successfully complete Commissionaires’ Training courses


Designated Veteran status is considered an asset but is not a requirement.
