Agilus is recruiting for a Journeyperson Millwright in the Food Manufacturing Industry in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a key member of the maintenance team, the Millwright reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day facility operations. This position is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and reliability of equipment within a food manufacturing environment while upholding the highest standards of food safety and workplace safety. Total rewards: $43.72 hourly Overtime pay and additional earning opportunities. Full-time, permanent employment with 40 expected hours per week. A typical day: Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and upgrade processing, packaging, material handling, utility, and wastewater treatment equipment. Execute work orders, corrective actions, and approved equipment modifications or additions. Perform, document, and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, and basic electronic issues. Read and interpret mechanical, technical, and schematic drawings. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements and best practices. Support and promote food safety, workplace safety, and health & safety programs. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned. Successful candidates will have: Valid Manitoba Journeyman Certificate of Qualification as a Millwright. Minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of plant operations and production equipment.
