About the OpportunityAltis Recruitment is partnering with a leading organization in the retail sector to hire a Facilities and Workplace Experience Assistant for their North Vancouver office. As the first point of contact for employees and guests, you’ll play a key role in shaping day-to-day experiences and ensuring every interaction reflects a strong, people-first culture.
Working closely with Facilities and Workplace Experience teams, as well as cross-functional partners across Talent Acquisition, Executive Support, and Employee Engagement, you’ll help deliver seamless operations and memorable in-office experiences. From coordinating events and managing office spaces to supporting workplace initiatives, your work will directly contribute to a vibrant and well-run environment where teams can do their best work.

Your Responsibilities• You’ll greet and welcome guests at reception in one of the North Vancouver facilities
• You’ll bring a customer-first mindset to everything you do, anticipating needs and ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, efficient and positive
• You’ll process service requests and act as the go to support for various teams across the business
• You’ll coordinate, order and maintain office supplies and inventory
• You’ll be conducting daily checks of common spaces, meeting rooms, and kitchens to ensure they are in working condition and have all necessary supplies and equipment.
• You’ll support the business by assisting with event and key meeting setup as required
• You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless guest readiness and workplace experiences
• You’ll identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance the office environment
• You’ll contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-energy workplace culture by jumping in where needed and supporting the broader team
• You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in various ad hoc projects as business needs arise
Skills and Qualifications• 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing or service-oriented role (retail, hospitality, or similar environments are highly valued)
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal with a natural ability to connect with people
• A customer-first attitude, with a genuine passion for creating great experiences for others
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to multitask
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as well as independently
• Comfortable using technology and adapting to new systems
