The Infrastructure and Service Management Branch manage, operates and supports the information management technology (IMT) infrastructure and productivity tools, and manages the overall provision of technical services, incidents response, and IMT service requests for the Government of Alberta (GoA).

As a Network Analyst, you’ll report to the Team Lead of Network Operations and bring your expertise in routing, switching, and firewalls across Cisco Systems technologies. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Government of Alberta’s shared data network service, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity for multiple ministries.
This role spans the full lifecycle of network services from design and implementation to maintenance, optimization, and eventual decommissioning of LAN and WAN infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with senior analysts on both operational support and forward-looking projects, helping evolve network solutions to meet changing business needs.

Hours of Work: 7.25 hours daily / 36.25 weekly – Monday to Friday
Location: Edmonton or Calgary
