About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established organization in the manufacturing and supply chain space, is looking for a Full Stack Developer to help modernize and streamline complex systems. This role plays a critical part in bridging legacy platforms with modern applications, enabling greater visibility, efficiency, and scalability across operations.
You’ll join a collaborative, delivery-focused team working at the intersection of legacy systems and modern development practices. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and deliver end-to-end solutions across UI, backend services, and integration layers
• You’ll build and maintain RESTful APIs that abstract complex legacy systems into clean, reliable interfaces
• You’ll develop and support EDI transaction flows, including mapping, validation, and issue resolution
• You’ll translate legacy data logic into stable, modern components to ensure accuracy and consistency
• You’ll implement automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing
• You’ll leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of full stack development experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience with Java (including Java web development), Spring, and RESTful API development
• Proficiency in C++
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., VIPE Coding) is considered an asset
• Hands-on experience working with legacy systems such as IBM i; RPG experience is a strong asset
• Proven experience with EDI/MuleSoft integrations and partner onboarding processes highly desirable
• Solid understanding of testing strategies in high-risk integration environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex systems into practical solutions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Must be bilingual (French/English) with strong written and verbal communication skills
