As an Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment across the aerodrome and terminal areas while supporting daily operations and emergency response.

• Training rate: $16.35/hour - 24 hours of paid training

Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard

• Control access to restricted areas of the aerodrome
• Conduct patrols of the aerodrome and terminal apron
• Enforce traffic regulations both groundside and airside
• Respond to and assist with emergency situations on airport property
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the on-duty supervisor
• Monitor the premises to ensure the security

Qualifications for Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic First Aid certification
• Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Transport Canada (TC) security clearance in a timely manner
• Ability to obtain an AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit) in a timely manner
• Availability for on-call shifts, including extended hours
