Description

As strategic, creative, and agile partners and storytellers, the Communications team develops, implements, and executes internal and external communications activities that proactively:

  • Contribute to the business’ success;

  • Engage and connect employees;

  • Strengthen the reputation of CAE and its brand; and

  • Propel our high-tech evolution.

Working hand in hand with our business units and corporate functions, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and support different projects, both internal and external. Are you ready to:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal communications campaigns, strategies, and programs.

  • Plan, organize, and deliver employee events of varying scale, from small, targeted sessions to large scale corporate events.

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to internal customers, mainly manufacturing, for their employee communications, while supporting a diverse employee population, including unionized internal clients.

  • Develop and support various company-wide communication channels and vehicles (newsletters, presentations, blogs, videos, etc).

  • Develop concepts and write content for a wide range of communications tools.

  • Complete other tasks, as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications, or related discipline.

  • 3-10 years’ experience in corporate or marketing communications.

  • Experience in communications planning, event planning and project management.

  • Bilingual in French and in English with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with unionized environments or supporting communications for unionized employees.

  • Ability to manage simultaneous internal clients and projects, with rigour and meet strict deadlines. 

  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and self-discipline

  • Ability to show initiative, autonomy and creativity.

  • Good initiative and sound judgement.
