About the Opportunity
Our client, a global organization operating across multiple regions and industries, is seeking a hands-on IT Help Desk Analyst to support on-site technical operations at their Ottawa location. This role is critical in ensuring seamless day-to-day IT support while contributing to ongoing hardware upgrades and system improvements.
You’ll work closely with a distributed IT team, supporting both end users and Level 1 service desk teams. This is a highly practical, people-facing role where your ability to take initiative, communicate clearly, and deliver strong customer service will directly impact operational efficiency and user experience.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll provide Level 2 technical support, assisting both end users and the Level 1 service desk team with escalated issues
- In this role, you’ll handle hands-on tasks such as imaging devices, deploying equipment, and configuring workstations for new hires
- You’ll support ongoing hardware refresh initiatives, including upgrading and replacing legacy systems
- You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues in a timely and customer-focused manner
- You’ll ensure on-site IT operations run smoothly, stepping in to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Level 2 IT support or a similar hands-on technical role
- Strong experience with device imaging, hardware deployment, and desktop support
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is an asset
