As our Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, you will be the key leader and strategic partner driving the seamless and successful front-of-house operations - including AquaTerra, The Patio at Aquaterra, the Vu Lounge, Room Service and Grab n' Go services.
We are seeking a leader with exceptional situational awareness and a strong command presence — someone who can walk into any outlet, quickly understand the flow of service, anticipate needs, and guide the team with confidence to deliver an elevated guest experience. You will work closely with the hotel leadership team to optimize operations, inspire and develop associates, and ensure brand standards are exceeded while maximizing revenue and controlling costs.

What You'll Do
- Be present on the floor during service, actively engaging with guests, checking on tables, and guiding the team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Address guest complaints with empathy and professionalism, providing timely solutions and follow-up to create a positive, lasting impression.
- Partner with the Chef and leadership team to create menus, plan seasonal offerings, and execute marketing initiatives that enhance the dining experience and other outlets.
- Facilitate menu tastings and educational sessions, empowering staff with the knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Manage labour and operating expenses by optimizing practices, maintaining accurate budgets, and overseeing purchasing and inventory controls to achieve financial goals.
- Conduct monthly beverage inventories, cost analysis, and product evaluations in collaboration with the General Manager and Chef to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute initiatives to enhance the restaurant’s competitive positioning, increase market share, and maximize profitability.
- Conduct weekly meetings with assistant managers to evaluate results, set action plans, resolve issues, and drive consistent execution across all outlets.
- Conduct employee review performance, discuss challenges, set priorities, and provide coaching — ensuring alignment and consistency across all outlets.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of front-of-house staff, partnering with HR and leadership to build a skilled, engaged, and guest-focused team.
- Oversee supply ordering and inventory management to ensure availability, minimize waste, and optimize costs.
- Maintain strict adherence to brand standards and operational procedures by regularly monitoring performance, using the team's W.I.G board to track guest reviews, feedback, compliance scores and service objectives
- Implement and uphold procedures and systems that ensure hotel policies and practices are consistently followed by all team members.
- Train and mentor associates on empowerment principles, providing them with the skills, authority, and confidence to proactively solve problems and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Build and maintain a positive, respectful work environment where associates are supported, properly trained, and equipped to succeed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by managing restaurant cleaning schedules, coordinating maintenance work orders, and performing regular inspections.
Completion of a 2 year College diploma in a related field or equivalent
- Minimum 3 year's experience in operating a full-service restaurant. Internationally trained individuals are welcome to apply.
- Strong Wine knowledge
- Consistently stays up to date with industry trends and seeks opportunities to bring fresh, innovative ideas to benefit the hotel and enhance guest experiences.
- Experience working with a Marriott Brand is considered an asset and preferred
- Strong situational awareness with the ability to assess service flow, anticipate guests' needs, and direct the team in real time.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to inspire, train, and motivate diverse teams.
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with kitchen, hotel, and corporate leadership teams.
- Commitment to service excellence, with a track record of resolving guest concerns and elevating overall guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets, projects, and priorities simultaneously
