*This position is open to post-secondary students enrolled full time in a Canadian college or university. Applicants must be returning to school on a full time basis for the next academic school year.

Duration - May 4, 2026 – August 28,2026 (excluding two-week shutdown – July 27,2026 – August 7,2026)

Normal Hours of Work – May 4, 2026 – June 26, 2026, - 7 hours per day, 5 days per week

Summer Hours of Work - June 29, 2026 – August 14, 2026, - 8 hours per day, 4 days per week

Position Summary

The Financial Services Summer Student will provide valuable short-term support to the Financial Services Department, working both independently and collaboratively with team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Entering and processing accounting invoices in the Board's financial system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assisting with testing and validating a new ERP system, including data entry, workflow testing, and reviewing reports to ensure expected functionality.
  • Supporting project-based tasks related to the ERP implementation and other financial activities, as required during the summer term.
  • Applicants must be available to work full time from May 4, 2026, through August 28, 2026
  • Proficient keyboarding, computer and word processing skills particularly in the Windows system environment using Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of basic office and financial procedures and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to gather and compile data accurately and efficiently
