Salary: $70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD
 

We are seeking an experienced and results driven Content Creation & Insights Specialist to join our Sales Enablement team. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing enablement strategies that empower wholesalers to effectively support financial advisors and drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will bring deep marketing and martech expertise, lead enablement initiatives independently, and act as a trusted partner across Sales and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Insights

  • Defines and operationalizes content strategy specifically for Sales Enablement support, ensuring alignment to established brand standards and tone of voice, for our internal and external-facing marketing and communication tactics.

  • Oversees the creation, customization, and lifecycle management of enablement content across platforms.

  • Translates complex industry, product, and market updates into clear, compelling, and audience appropriate insights with messaging, driving campaigns and content initiatives that position Manulife as the partner of choice for advisors.

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Leads, to create compelling and informative content for various marketing channels, including digital, print, presentations and social media, to effectively communicate the value of our Insurance & Guaranteed Wealth products.

Sales Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Lead contributor to the design, execution, and continuous optimization of sales enablement content strategies that equip wholesalers with high impact tools, industry insights, content, and campaigns to support advisors.

  • Translates distribution priorities, advisor needs, and business objectives into actionable collateral tailored to enablement plans and deliverables.

  • Leads enablement support for events, webinars, and workshops aimed at enhancing wholesaler and advisor engagement and knowledge, where applicable.

Marketing Technology & Campaign Leadership

  • Serves as a Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) subject matter expert building campaigns in SFMC or similar (incl. Basic HTML for email formatting).

  • Owns campaign architecture, audience segmentation, automation design, workflows, and performance reporting.

  • Applies advanced judgment in configuring and optimizing martech solutions to improve engagement, efficiency, and measurable impact.

  • Ensures adherence to email deliverability best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., CASL, WCAG).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Acts as a key connector across Distribution, Strategic Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Product, Pricing, Legal, and Compliance teams.

  • Influences timelines, priorities, and delivery approaches to ensure enablement initiatives meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures consistency of messaging, materials, and experience across internal and advisor‑facing touchpoints.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Owns measurement frameworks for enablement initiatives, monitoring effectiveness through data, feedback, and insights.

  • Analyzes performance results and recommends improvements to increase adoption, engagement, and impact.

  • Applies sound judgment in interpreting dynamic data and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 year of progressive experience in marketing, sales enablement, or a related role within financial services or insurance.

  • Proficiency in marketing/sales tools, CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, Sharepoint and Microsoft incl. Co-Pilot.

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and enablement models; experience supporting wholesaler–advisor relationships is a strong asset.

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives independently, manage multiple priorities, and apply judgment in complex situations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the talent for translating complex industry updates into clear, audience-appropriate language.

  • Strong organizational and project leadership capabilities.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French or English/Mandarin) is an asset but not required.

Salary range is expected to be between

$70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
