We are looking for a motivated finance professional who wants to make a meaningful impact, build strong business partnerships, and grow their banking career in a collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Director, Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in monthly and annual financial forecasting, performance analysis, and business insights. This role offers broad exposure across the Bank, working closely with teams including Treasury, Financial Control, Capital Management, and Product Strategy to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis

  • Perform month-end variance analysis across Sales, P&L, and Balance Sheet

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support short- and long-term strategic planning

  • Prepare financial analyses, dashboards, and executive-level presentations

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and financial trends

  • Analyze large datasets using SQL to generate business insights

  • Support portfolio-specific and ad hoc analyses as required

  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

  • Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Support monthly processes related to sales compensation

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting and/or CPA/CFA designation

  • Good presentation and business writing skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong attention to detail, aptitude to learn and willingness to ask questions.

  • High degree of flexibility and creativity. Must be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment and to develop and adapt financial procedures and processes to meet such changes.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work within various group settings.

  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of the business environment and banking industry, in order to provide meaningful analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis features

  • Programing/coding skills (e.g. SQL, Power Apps, Python) are definite assets

Salary range is expected to be between

$73,725.00 CAD - $122,875.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
