The Digital Acquisition Specialist supports the end‑to‑end strategy and execution of paid digital marketing campaigns to drive acquisition, sales, and revenue growth. This role partners closely with marketing teams, digital and product stakeholders, analytics partners, and external agencies to deliver high‑performing, data‑driven digital programs.

The successful candidate will act as a paid media subject matter expert, leading campaigns from inception through launch and optimization, while contributing to broader digital channel strategy. A strong analytical mindset, hands‑on platform experience, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Support paid digital marketing programs end‑to‑end, from strategy development through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Translate business and acquisition goals into data‑driven digital strategies across paid search, social, display, and programmatic channels.
  • Bring tactical plans to life through test‑and‑learn initiatives and continuous performance optimization.
  • Participate in and consult on new and existing marketing page builds to ensure optimal digital performance.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Analyze campaign and program performance to identify optimization opportunities, performance drivers, and improvement areas.
  • Conduct pre‑implementation and post‑implementation analyses to estimate and measure campaign impact (e.g., revenue growth, cost efficiencies).
  • Identify emerging trends, issues, and opportunities to support informed decision‑making.

Analytics, Reporting & Data Integrity

  • Deliver clear, concise media performance reporting and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot inconsistencies across reporting sources and data systems in partnership with digital analytics, tagging, product, and technology teams.
  • Ensure accurate media tracking, tagging, and data integrity across all paid digital campaigns.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business partners, providing guidance on campaign planning, creative development, optimization, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with agency and vendor partners, ensuring campaign efficiency, optimization, and performance accountability.
  • Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support to marketing and business teams.
  • Collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization, including senior stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, paid media, or advertising
  • Post‑secondary degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline
  • Hands‑on experience with:
    • Google Marketing Platform (GA4, Campaign Manager, DV360)
    • Self‑serve advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
    • Digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and performance reporting
  • Experience working with or managing advertising agencies is an asset
  • Financial services experience is an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and influence stakeholders across an organization
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship‑management skills
  • Integrated marketing planning and execution expertise

Salary:
$56,000.00 - $103,500.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
