As a member of the School of Business and Creative Industries faculty team, you will:
Provide theoretical and practical instruction in the Business Analysis program, specifically courses related to business analysis trends, perspectives, software and data modelling.
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is a relevant university degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or other relevant business fields. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation will be considered an asset.
You have a minimum of five years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in establishing work plans to inform business solutions, managing and monitoring process and progress of business initiatives, implementing project management processes to support software development and projects, interpreting and validating business needs through strategic and comprehensive analysis of data, using data to make strategic business recommendations, and presenting complex information concisely and accurately.
You have specific occupational knowledge and skills using industry tools and software to analyze data, such as Python, R, MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, ERP Knowledge, and Tableau.
You have advanced skills in using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project and e-mail. Experience teaching using Brightspace and Microsoft Teams will be considered an asset.
Relevant Skills and Knowledge:

The salary scale for NSCC Faculty is based on steps that range from $52.41 per hour - $66.84 per hour. New Faculty may receive up to a maximum of five steps for relevant occupational experience and may receive up to an additional four steps for full-time equivalent years of instructional experience (instructional experience is defined as teaching post-secondary). The maximum a new Faculty can expect to receive is nine steps or $62.43 per hour.
