Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 2 days onsite, increasing to 4 days onsite starting August)
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 base + 15% bonus +Benefits
Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills required

About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing organization within the financial services & Insurance space, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant, FP&A to join their team during an exciting period of transformation. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality financial planning, analysis, and insight, with a strong emphasis on expense management and supporting a key line of business.

In this role, you’ll work closely with global stakeholders across finance and operations, helping to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll be part of a collaborative and evolving FP&A function that is actively improving processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and driving better business decisions through data.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, with a focus on expense management
  • In this role, you’ll analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide clear commentary on key drivers
  • You’ll partner with business stakeholders to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy
  • You’ll develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
  • You’ll contribute to process improvements, helping reduce manual workflows and enhance reporting efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and working with large datasets
  • Experience with variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Exposure to financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • A professional designation (CPA, CFA, ACCA) completed or in progress is an asset
