About the Opportunity
Our client, a values-driven organization within the non-profit and humanitarian sector, is seeking a Senior Manager, People and Culture to help shape a people-first, inclusive workplace. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on strengthening employee experience, enhancing engagement, and driving HR operations that support a growing and evolving organization.
You will work closely with senior leadership and lead a dedicated People and Culture team, ensuring employees across Canada and internationally feel supported, connected, and empowered. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building culture, improving processes, and leading through change.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead day-to-day People and Culture operations, ensuring consistent, people-centric HR service delivery
• You’ll drive employee engagement initiatives, gathering insights and turning feedback into meaningful action
• You’ll support organizational strategy by translating priorities into clear HR programs and KPIs
• You’ll oversee talent strategies including recruitment, retention, and workforce planning
• You’ll coach and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• You’ll guide change management efforts, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions across teams
Skills and Qualifications
• 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership of People and Culture functions
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices
• Proven experience in employee engagement, culture building, and organizational development
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow teams
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday is an asset
• CHRP or CHRL designation, or working towards it, is considered an asset
