Salary: $129,800.00 CAD - $241,200.00 CAD
 

The AVP, Finance Transformation is a senior enterprise leadership role accountable for driving value‑led, well‑governed, and well‑adopted transformation across the Finance function.

The role owns the Finance Transformation Office, with accountability for:

  • governing the Global Finance Intake,
  • enabling Global Process Owners (GPOs),
  • ensuring disciplined prioritization and value realization, and
  • owning the Finance‑wide change management strategy, including acting as a shared change enablement resource for Finance initiatives and enablement teams.

This role ensures Finance transformation is not only delivered, but understood, adopted, and sustained.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Finance Transformation Governance & Portfolio Management

  • Own the Finance Transformation Office and its end‑to‑end mandate.
  • Govern the Global Finance Intake, including:
    • Value‑based prioritization and sequencing
    • Capacity and dependency management
    • Transparent decision rationale
  • Maintain an integrated view of the Finance transformation portfolio, including risks, interdependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure alignment between Finance strategy, operating model evolution, and transformation demand.

2. Global Process Owner (GPO) Enablement

  • Enable Global Process Owners to fulfil end‑to‑end process accountability by providing:
    • Clear governance structures and decision forums
    • Prioritization and sequencing support
    • Alignment between process ownership, change demand, and delivery
  • Support GPOs in translating standards, controls, and operating model changes into executable initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent engagement between GPOs, Finance Technology & Innovation, Global Shared Services, and Segment leaders.

3. Enterprise Finance Change Strategy & Enablement

  • Own and continuously evolve the Finance‑wide change management strategy, covering:
    • Finance Elevate initiatives
    • Finance enablement and technology‑led change
    • Operating model and process changes
  • Act as a central change enablement resource for:
    • Initiative owners
    • Enablement capability homes (AI & Data, Automation, Analytics, Platforms)
    • Global Process Owners
  • Establish consistent standards for:
    • Change impact assessment
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Communication and training
    • Adoption measurement and reinforcement
  • Ensure change approaches are right‑sized, coordinated, and sequenced, avoiding change fatigue and duplication across Finance.

4. Value Realization & Performance Management

  • Establish and maintain value and benefit tracking across all approved Finance transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure clear linkage between investment decisions, delivery progress, adoption, and realized outcomes.
  • Proactively identify risks to value realization and escalate through appropriate governance forums.
  • Provide decision‑quality insights to Finance leadership on trade‑offs, capacity constraints, and sequencing.

5. Leadership of Transformation Delivery & Change Capability

  • Lead and develop a Manila‑based team responsible for program delivery, reporting, and change enablement.
  • Ensure consistent execution and change discipline across initiatives, including:
    • Delivery cadence and milestone tracking
    • Risk, dependency, and issue management
    • Change readiness and adoption planning
  • Build strong collaboration between transformation delivery teams and enablement capability homes.

6. Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Finance COO, FLT, and Segment leaders on:
    • Transformation priorities
    • Change readiness and adoption
    • Portfolio trade‑offs and sequencing
  • Prepare and present clear, concise updates for senior governance forums, including Executive Steering Committees and Design Authority.
  • Influence decision‑making through structured analysis, transparency, and pragmatic recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or enterprise change
  • Demonstrated leadership of large‑scale, multi‑year transformation and change portfolios
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes, controls, and operating models
  • Proven experience leading enterprise change management in complex environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating global, distributed delivery and change teams
  • Exposure to technology‑enabled and data‑driven transformation
  • Experience in regulated financial services environments

Salary range is expected to be between

$129,800.00 CAD - $241,200.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
